Two School Pupils Die In Laghman Rocket Attack

Two secondary school students died on Tuesday moing when a rocket hit their school in Mehtarlam in Laghman province.

Ministry of Education officials and the goveor's office confirmed the incident and said four others had been injured.

This latest incident comes just a day after insurgents detonated an explosive device against a mini bus carrying Ministry of Education employees on Monday in Kabul. At least two people died in that incident.

On Saturday night, insurgents also launched a rocket at a girl's school in Kabul city. No casualties were reported but damage was caused to the building.
