South Africa beat Afghanistan by 37 runs in the ICC World Twenty20 encounter at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday.

South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first.

Having been set a daunting target of 210/5, Afghanistan came out blazing and put their all into chasing down the steep target.

Afghanistan made three changes to their XI, with Gulbadin Naib back in the top four, Amir Hamza bolstering the spin department and Shapoor Zadran the attack. Hamid Hassan was left out.

Afghanistan will play England on Wednesday in Delhi.
