A suicide bomber on Wednesday afteoon detonated his explosives outside the Kabul Fire Department in PD2, close to various ministries and the Presidential Palace.

According to officials the attacker was stopped at the entrance of the fire department. He then detonated his explosives.

No further details have been released.
