12 Insurgents Killed in Dand-e-Ghori Operation

At least 12 Taliban insurgents were killed in ongoing military operations against insurgents in Dand-e-Ghori area of northe Baghlan province, local officials said on Wednesday.

In addition, seven other insurgents were injured.

The operation is still on going in Salangha of Dand-e-Ghori but security forces are moving forward to clear all insurgents, a spokesman for Provincial Goveor Zabihullah Shuja said.

However, officials did not provide more details about the operation nor of casualties among the security forces.
